These blog posts are becoming few and far between since I’m dedicating more attention to the new business, but I’ve got a few exciting things to report and a whole 30 minutes free to report them. ![]()
I was contacted by the company not too long ago and asked if I would like some samples to share with the Gluten Intolerance Group of Greater Dallas. Are ya kidding? Of course I would! I would like to go on the record and let everyone know that this is the first time a brand has offered samples and coupons for our entire group rather than just asking me to do a giveaway on the blog. Major bonus points for that!
I’ve come to except the fact that grains and I just don’t get along, so I tried a small bit of this and then handed some to parents and gluten-free friends before taking it to our meeting. I thought it tasted great, but the true test for any gluten free product is what those who aren’t gluten free think. I nearly fell over in a dead faint when my mom said she enjoyed it. She hasn’t enjoyed a single gluten-free item I’ve given her in the last two years.
Best of all, it’s not loaded with a ton of sugar…which is why I’m usually not a fan of granola. Check out the ingredients for the pumpkin fig mix, below.
A young fan in the making-
Purely Elizabeth does more than just granola though. If you’re looking for a new cookie or pancake mix to try, check out all their products here. If you’re in Dallas, you should be able to find the products in Whole Foods, but there’s also a handy store locator here.
2. Pretty Muddy
This Friday is March 1! That means the Pretty Muddy is exactly three months away. I’m getting excited since I’ve never made the time to do one of these events before. I have a good little team going, too! Just a reminder- If you’re interested in registering, now is the time to do it. Registration is $10 off through the end of February, but on Friday, March 1, the price will go up. Just go for it. You know you want to. ![]()
